Rentalcars.com partnered with Ryanair to provide transport options to the country’s biggest airline, supplying a booking flow that enabled customers to customise their holiday package by adding car rental.

Using the existing design system work described in the ‘Rentalcars’ project, we were able to create a theme-able layer that could be applied to their partner brands and truly put our design system to the test. We needed design foundations that could be themed to match the guidelines of different brands - matching their colour schemes, typography and styling to fit seamlessly into their wider booking flow.

Email marketing

As well as an embedded booking flow, I was required to design a number of email widgets to embed within the Ryanair emails that get sent to thousands of customers each day. It was also important that the design provided a neutral base to theme for partner brands such as Lauda and Southwest Airlines.
